Noise in the Valley 2026

Noise in the Valley 2026 organised by Noise In Promotions.

This is a totally free, walk-in entry festival,  featuring 27 local bands, across venues in Halifax and Sowerby Bridge between 13th and 15th November 2026. The Festival is carefully timed for clash free/no cross-overs.

Expect a mix of Punk, Rock, Hard-Core & Emo. From emerging bands releasing their first EP’s to established artists with airplay on National Radio. Can you imagine saying in a few years time, that you saw them here first?

At Sowerby Bridge Fire and Water, we are delighted to be hosting the Headliners of this year’s Noise in The Valley, Leeds Rock Band, Thank, on the evening of Saturday 14th November.

Our Saturday is shaping up to be a great day: Set times are not out yet, but from the afternoon, you can expect to see the following fantastic acts:

Man Eat Man are a new, noisy post-hardcore band from Bradford - influenced by the harsh noises from reality and the even harsher world around them. There’s a certain amount of honesty and bluntness that comes from their music that can’t be taken for granted.

Their debut EP 'Grade "A" Human' is on sale from the 13th of November, just in time for Noise In the Valley!

Ancient Good Stuff

Alternative Rock and Pop Punk Bass and Drums Power Duo, originally from Argentina, and now based in Manchester that formed in 2020 while the rest of us were going stir crazy in lockdown.

They have been featured on BBC Radio 6 Music during the Trunk of Punk segment. Band member Angie appeared on the show hosted by Chris Hawkins to discuss their association with Little Punk Records.

Thank

The Rock Band Thank from Leeds, first emerged in 2016 from the scene surrounding CHUNK, their city’s notorious - and now sadly defunct - DIY space. Having honed their brand of volatile and joyously cathartic post-punk alongside a hivemind of grindcore bands, bashment DJs and most things in between, since early 2023, Thank has settled on a core quartet of Lewis Millward (guitar/synth), Cameron Moitt (bass), Steve Myles (drums), and Freddy Vinehill-Cliffe (vocals/guitar).

Their most recent studio album,’ I Have A Physical Body That Can Be Harmed’  was released at the end of 2024, and is described as an acid-fried concoction of hardcore punk fury, Jungle inspired freneticism and synth pop bombast (ArcTanGent)

They’ve just come back from a tour in Berlin and the Netherlands and we are absolutely chuffed to bits that they are playing in our Fire Station!

Check out their 10th Anniversary Party on Youtube. The Live Album is on sale on Bandcamp
