MIZKAST work with disabled young people, aged 16-25, from the LGBTQIA+ community within the West Yorkshire district. Our projects allow young people to come together to create challenging and unique pieces of work, which come directly from their own hearts, ideas and experiences and we use a variety of multi media to achieve this.

MIZKAST exists to provide disabled young people who are disempowered and vulnerable  with a safe space to express themselves artisticallyusing the Arts as a tool for self empowermentself transformation, a voice of influence and social change.
Young people look at a variety of themes, personal stories and social injustices to inspire their stories. It is from these stories that characters, scripts and projects are created
MIZKAST are young people who have been given a platform to express themselves and to use their voices to raise awareness of Queer storiessocial prejudices and to comment on the experiences of living life as a young person in today's society.
Our projects are uniquechallenging and creative and always place young people at the heart of every aspect of decision making within the projects and at management level.
