George Daniels is a folk musician and singer-songwriter from Heptonstall. Inspired by folk artists such as The Dubliners, Planxty, Crosby Stills and Nash and Tony Rice, the raw energy of The Pogues and Jesse Welles. George loves sharing real stories about real people and events through his own songs while also keeping folk traditions alive for a modern audience.

Rebecca Spooner, a singer songwriter and solo artist from Todmorden, combing elements of folk, indie pop and rock through her acoustic original songs, emotive vocals and poignant lyricism, often compared to the likes of Joni Mitchell and Laura Marling.

Anyone whose musical output includes a ship’s wheel synthesiser, the theme tune to one of the 21st century’s most iconic gameshows, and the only UK Christmas number 1 flexidisc has probably got something interesting going on. Augustin Bousfield is a relentlessly creative musician and producer from Bradford who turns his hand to all sorts of musical projects with an unending supply of tunes and nagging sonic quirks – from thrashing skronk duo Mucky Sailor to psychedelic pop outfit Gurgles, via supporting roles with kosmische rockers NOPE and psychfolk guitarist Henry Parker. Recently Augustin has just completed his solo album, ‘Anymoor’.
‘Progressive Synth, Keytar Boogie, Frazzled Funk and Chip-tuned out chongers. This is the future, rewired through the past and yet again Augustin has more than proved he can smash through the speakers into your lives. Odd in many respects, far-out freakery in others but amidst the computer crazy chaos there lies some maximum tune-age! Recommended’. – Jumbo Records
‘I really love that’ – Mark Radcliffe
‘It’s great music’ – Stuart Maconie

The Short Causeway is a three-piece indie pop band from Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, formed after a gig at the Trades Club. They consist of Claudie Nicholson (guitar/vocals), Rufus Stott-Leach (drums), and Hayden Davey (bass/vocals). They are known for their energetic live performances and have been described as having a unique sound that blends indie pop with influences from 80s Postcard Records, the C86 scene, and other local Calderdale bands. The band's debut single, "Tripping Down The Stairs," released in 2022, gained them recognition and led to radio plays and a place on the NME100 list. They have also been mentioned by the NME. Their music often explores themes of mundanity, waiting, and longing, and they are known for their DIY approach to music.

Anjaana Group formed in the late 1970s in Bradford, England. They have performed at hundreds of weddings, parties and events across the UK and India.Anjaana were the late Kuldeep Manak Ji's UK based backing band during the 1970s and 1980s. They performed together at weddings and festivals across the UK and Europe and also recorded two albums together.Their first studio collaboration was probably the first hit record in the Punjabi Folk/Bhangra industry from a band based in the north of England. The title track 'Nachna Pia', from the album with the same name featured the vocals of the late Kuldeep Manak Ji with backing vocals by Satpal Anjaana and Surinder Pal (accordion/vajala). Unknown to many, the album was recorded in the Little Germany area of Bradford. Anjaana are still going strong with Satpal as the main singer and with some new additions to the line-up, now offer live dhol, dholak, and harmonium.

“Dan's Girlfriend are a saxophone, vocals and guitar-toting group, balancing cheesy pop anthems with gritty instrumentation – alongside a style that could only originate from West Yorkshire, and experiences in metal and jazz bands like Afflecks Palace, Ubunye, and Deadset Dream.
Alongside the debut single’s evocation of Blondie and jazz-funk a la Kool and the Gang, this second outing offers elements reminiscent of more modern acts like indie sleaze figureheads and one-hit wonders The Ting Tings.
Similar to this effortlessly fun sonic blend, the staccato, rhythmic skatting bleeds into the conventional vocals with fiendish flair. The similarly stuttering saxophone is more potent here. It’s a rapid-fire combo of heady, punchy and wondrously melodic styles – echoing both Eurovision’s Epic Sax Guy and jazz greats. On Skipping Beats, the second single, they combine these indie-rock and jazz influences majestically. This heady cocktail is the ideal combination for its frenetic display of the anxiety of the first flushes of romance, brewed as well as any of your favoured indie sleaze legends.” - James Kilkenny Louder Than War
